REDCORP VENTURES (RDV.TO)
The Taku River Inlet is an important area to Alaskans and Canadians for recreation, subsistence and commercial activities. Some concerns have been raised about the potential disruption or interference with existing activities in this area resulting from our proposed ACB operations. A key objective in planning the ACB operations is to minimize disruption to existing activities and users.
Since early in 2007, we have been in discussions with various user groups including the Taku River Recreation Association, commercial fishing organizations, First Nation and non-First Nation fishermen, commercial tourism operators, guide outfitters, environmental organizations, and members of the public. Through these discussions potential issues and concerns were identified and have now formed the basis of these assessments.
