Permitting

The Tulsequah project has successfully acquired the following approvals related to the Tulsequah Chief Mine and access road:

• British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office Certificate of Approval
• British Columbia Ministry of Forests Special Use Permit for road access, and
• A positive screening under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act for both the mine and access road activities.

With these approvals, Redfern is now able to proceed with obtaining the necessary operational permits which include specific applications to the provincial and federal agencies for major stream crossing designs, construction erosion, sediment control plan, operational effluent discharge, mine site road design, and final facility design.
