Terence Chandler, B.Sc., P.Geo
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Terry joined Redfern Resources Ltd. in 1993 as Vice President Exploration and was later appointed President of Redfern. In 2000, on completion of the corporate re-organization, he was appointed President of Redcorp Ventures Ltd. Through his tenure he initiated and led the company’s exploration, court challenge defence, feasibility evaluation, permitting, financing and development activities for the Tulsequah project in northwestern BC. Terry was also instrumental in acquiring the Hawk project in BC and the company’s Portugal concessions which led to the formation of Redcorp Empreendimentos Mineiros Unipessoal Lda. Terry's dedication, commitment and strong leadership has been a large factor in achieving a permitted, feasible project and the formation of a capable management team.

Terry is a graduate of Carlton University in Ottawa, Ontario with a B.Sc in Geology. He has been actively engaged in the mineral industry for 31 years, primarily on base-metal and gold properties. His previous work experience includes ten years with Falconbridge Limited from 1976 through 1986 in the Caribbean, Africa and Canada, followed by seven years with Homestake Canada managing gold exploration in central Canada and North West Territories.

Terry is a professional geoscientist registered with APEGGBC and a member of CIM and PDAC.

   


Michael Allen P. Geo

Chief Geologist & Underground Development Manager

Mike joined Redcorp Ventures in 2004 as Project Geologist to work on the Company’s Tulsequah project. In 2005 he was appointed Exploration Manager, and was responsible for the design and execution of the Company’s exploration programs. With the construction of the Tulsequah Chief Mine underway, Mike has been appointed to the Company’s Construction Management team and also has taken the role as Redcorp’s Chief Geologist and will be focused on supervising the underground development prior to production.  

Mike brings experience from both junior and major exploration companies to Redcorp. He  was part of DeBeers Canada Mining Snap Lake geological team during test mining of the Snap Lake kimberlite dyke. Mike also has experience in base metal and gold deposits through work in British Columbia, Ontario, the NWT and Nunavut.
Mike received degrees from the University of Alberta, graduating with a Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Physical Geography in 1997 and a Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Geology in 1998. Mr. Allen is a Profession Geoscientist registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientist of British Columbia.
 


Tim Davies

Manager, Environmental & Regulatory Affairs

Tim joined Redcorp in November 2006 and brings a depth of knowledge and experience in resource management, project management, policy development and strategic planning. Previously, Tim worked as Sr. Manager of Environmental and Regulatory Affairs for an aquatic farming company in British Columbia during which time he initiated the development and implementation of the company’s Environmental Management System with the goal of ISO 14001 certification.

As Manager, Environmental and Regulatory Affairs, Tim is responsible for providing guidance through rigorous permitting processes and ensuring compliance with strict regulations. Tim also maintains participation in key government/industry workshops to ensure the company remains current regarding management and guidance of sensitive regulatory issues and aboriginal affairs that influence mineral exploration and mining.

Tim earned his Bachelor of Science, Fisheries and Aquaculture, degree from Malaspina University in 1998 and his Masters in Business Administration, Executive Management, from Royal Roads University in 2005.

 

Len Marcellus
Manager, Procurement & Contracts

Len joined the company in May 2007 and is a Graduate Technologist in High Tech Electronics.  Len has approximately 35 years of experience in various industries & disciplines.

Len's previous roles include numerous managerial positions: project manager, production manager, quality assurance manager, senior buyer, and operations manager. 

As Manager, Procurement & Contracts, Len is responsible for managing the purchasing, expediting and contracting activities of the project’s engineering and procurement group (Wardrop) and construction management group (Merit Consultants Inc.).
